Pivot Point Families and Couples is a dynamic practice focused on couples, individual and family therapy. We have expertise working with difficult family dynamics, complex mental health disorders and their impact on the family system.  We work with couples and families to help them improve their communication and connection during all stages of family development. We believe strongly that engaging all stakeholders in the therapy process significantly improves outcomes.

COUPLES & Family Therapy COUNSELING

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, both partners work together with a dedicated therapist to address the issues affecting their relationship. Whether one partner is struggling with undiagnosed depression, anxiety, or past trauma — or both partners are experiencing communication breakdowns — we provide a safe, neutral space to explore these challenges together. While most sessions are conducted jointly, individual sessions may also be offered, particularly in the early stages of treatment, to ensure each partner feels heard and supported.

Family Therapy

Family therapy brings together family members to address patterns, conflicts, and dynamics that may be affecting the health of the family unit. Whether you are navigating parenting challenges, blended family transitions, grief, or generational trauma, our therapists work collaboratively with your entire family to foster understanding, healing, and lasting change.
No matter where you are in your journey, Pivot Point Families and Couples is here to help you reconnect, rebuild, and thrive.

Trauma Therapy Services

We offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment proven to help individuals recover from trauma and PTSD. CPT works by gently guiding you to examine and reframe the thoughts and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck after a traumatic experience — empowering you to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.
Whether you're navigating the aftermath of a single traumatic event or years of complex trauma, our compassionate therapists are here to support you every step of the way. You don't have to carry this alone.

Love is not just a passion spark between two people; there is infinite difference between falling in love and standing in love. Rather, love is a way of being, a "giving to," not a 'falling for"; a mode of relating at large, not an act limited to a single person.
